The movie needs some set up. It was taken by Uncle Dean Sergeant around my birthday on May 4, 1956 at Buena Vista in Mussoorie, India. The people in the movie include my mom, Dorothy Whitcomb, my baby sister Patty, brother John and various friend from Upper Kindergarten - Ginny Ebright, Carol Jean Coleman, Sherry Sergeant, Rachel Groff, Mary Ellen Fritschle, Betsy Taylor, Glennis Robinson ... and others I can't identify any more! The red cocker spaniel belonged to a mission aunty and was called Rusty. It is the only movie I know of from my childhood.

Hi Cathy... wow, what a surprise and I am about half way through, wearing a plaid dress with a square collar... my Mom was a master at using buttons to embellish garments...the dhobies must have loved ironing around them.... this is SO special and to arrive today... when we are all thinking about the past.... and the future to the big 60 birthday. I recognise you, your mom, John, ginny, carol jean... but that's all...

It makes me want to get our old home movies made into video clips to share... I can't wait to show this to Mom and Dad so they can see that I had some happier moments at woodstock... and thanks to people like you and your Mom for helping to make this particular day a wonderful one.

Love 'n Prayers... to you and Jack and have a blessed and prosperous New Year.... Linda McKendry Gamble
